Everyone can keep hating thrift shop if they like, but "the heist" was probably the best rap album of the year. I know everyone says this about their favourite rapper but Macklemore is probably the only mainstream rapper of all time to have an important message in all if their music. Except for the "thats some gay backpacker nerd shit" argument, there is no reasonable way to argue that Macklemore isn't dope. I don't even listen to his style of music but I respect his music because it is great.
