I like..

Sslp
Mnm show
Mmlp2
Recovery

Will probably drastically change with the insertion of mmlp2
Won't know until I actually buy the album, deluuxe of course.

MMLP was better than SSLP

Infinite is his best lyrical. Guess its really not a contest to the others.

you said something in response to one of my verses to the effect of "I enjoy the actual emotions more than the surveyal of them" or something. This comment reminds me of that sentiment; SSLP was more raw emotion and lyrical hunger, but Em Show was more reflective on what breaking through that wall wrought. It was a personal surveyal, and I personally enjoyed it more. But I see what you're saying, it's CERTAINly a valid argument (see what I did?)

Brainless is fire

Ok

Yea this album has bangers on it.

But the bad tracks are almost as bad as the good are good...

Those 5 tracks bonus tracks ive yet to hear will make this his 4th best album tho easy.

I'd agree with this. I think MMLP is by far his greatest artistic achievement. It's the Godfather 2 to SSLP's Godfather.

Nice analogy, I stand my ground though. Id much quicker put on sslp and bump it before I would mmlp.

To each his own, though

DLB 10-30-2013 11:23 PM

sslp is boring after a while
u can easily skip through almost all of sslp tbh if u aren't interested

mmlp was just all around better

oats 10-30-2013 11:24 PM

So far, it's at least as good as Relapse to me, though I recognize that I like that album more than most people on here. I just wish Em would slow his role on bitches singing the hooks, loses the emotional impact and slows down the velocity of the album.

Ghost1 10-30-2013 11:24 PM

Word

The godfather analogy was good...as theyre both endlessly classic

But i can bump sslp front to back

I will skip a few on mmlp

Anyways...this new shit is damn good......musically he is making strides.

I can't stand "Amityville" and don't like "Kill You," "Kim," "Under the Influence" or "Remember Me?"

Five tracks that I consistently skip is enough for me to say it's not a a classic to my ears.

To be honest, The Slim Shady LP is the only Eminem I regularly listen to. The Eminem Show and The Marshall Mathers LP probably make it into my CD player once a year each.

Ghost1 10-30-2013 11:42 PM

Kill u is my fav track lmao....but word i dont fuck w those other 4

oats 10-30-2013 11:45 PM

only song I'll skip on that album consistently is Kim. But being real, I rarely listen to any Eminem anymore.

Certain 10-30-2013 11:46 PM

I loved "Kill You" when I was 13. Now, it's just too over the top. It's funny, I guess, but I prefer Bonnie and Clyde-style domestic violence rap.

oats 10-30-2013 11:51 PM

Brainless is dope so far. album has remained consistent, I dig it. def vying for number 4 in his discography.

oats 10-30-2013 11:58 PM

Stronger than I was is awful though.

e11even 10-31-2013 12:07 AM

I liked all the little plays off the original. not exactly my taste beat wise, but its growing on me. haven't made it through the album yet. Not a crazy fan of the flow, but its crazy dynamic. I like that part of it.

oats 10-31-2013 12:07 AM

so far sucks too

e11even 10-31-2013 12:13 AM

He's continuing a lot of trends from Bad Meets Evil: the female rock hooks, his fast jumble flow and rock hop beats.
