Haha I’ve had it written out for most of the week but was out late and literally had to drop it while I was at the gas station

I guess the holiday kind of derailed this week, I almost think it would have been better to have a bye or something. Hindsight is 20/20 though.

Well if you’re cool with @Master Rock dropping late that’s fine, @Adonis was trying to find the time as well he pm’d me. Objective dropped out but was waiting to see if @Blue Bayou had anything before I called it a double no show

I think a bye week might’ve killed the nice bit of momentum we’ve built, but maybe a short verse round - 10 line min/max or something might’ve worked better. But yeah, that’s easy to claim in hindsight.

Anyway, next week’s roster is looking STACKED. Dank Frank and NYC all signing in the same week is awesome.

I thought about the ten line thing too but didn’t know if I was giving enough of a heads up on it.

I think Dank is staying signed out another week but excited to see Frank and NYC sign in for sure!

Ah I see, he edited his sign in post. Ah well, I believe he’ll be back. I hope the other two actually show up and it wasn’t just a passing pang of nostalgia that prompted the sign ins. Excited for FRANK VS DANK not only because they’re both good writers, but because lol.

I want to let the people who haven’t showed yet drop but in the best interest of time/to not give an unfair advantage to these writers who are past the deadline, we’ll be moving at around noon today if no one has dropped. There’s two battles up for votes though and hopefully next week goes smoother without a holiday

But If you’d like to be an unbiased source who assigns topics to my battles then that would be cool.

@Adverse no, never seen Supernatural. I knew djinn = genie from The Witcher. My inspiration was just the gin/djinn wp + what I knew about genies from Aladdin but not wanting to go the comical route again haha. Thanks for the praise.
