Tbh I think it should just follow the league an point system football/soccer uses. An certain tourneys should only allow people of certain ability in. An we should even have certain discussion forums only certain tiers are in. An we should have a slur we can use against the minority classes. Perhaps just gang them up enmass n permo delete the "lower" tiers from the limes existence.

What about having a Rookies vs Vets week in he NBL?

It’s be kinda like rivalry week in college football. You’d have a special week in the middle of the NBL (like week 8 or something). Have a special mag and a cohost to build up hype. Hopefully, vets who aren’t normally active will sign up for it. If it goes smooth, it can be something we do every week.

I've always wanted to run a league where you have home and away advantage and can rebuttal (so in each battle only one person can rebuttal but you all get a turn because everyone faces each other twice)

Vote system will work where each contestant will be told which battles they are voting on that week an they send them back via pm. Winners announced in mag each week.

If it grew well enough id split it into lower an upper tiers. Run 3 tourneys through year.
An elite one for the top 4 of each tier following same home away style.
An all in where everyone goes in in a knock style comp.
And titles for those who champ each tier.
