yea. i wasn't too big of a fan of the tyrion narration overtop what was happening at casterly rock it was rushed for sure, but i mean even way early on they were saying most battles would be skipped over for purely cost reasons. and to be fair there has already been at least a couple shown this season alone, albeit quickly. the ships and casterly rock.

but yea i guess they have prequels on deck. they are shooting 4 seperate pilots. so thats like the dunc and egg novels, the original dance of dragons, and 2 other ones basically

set for after the last season of this, and the main reason im reading that they are rushing to finish this, is to get to those.

mainly because the cast can demand so much money now. jon snow and daenerys get 2+million an episode alone. when they start a new show, they can pay the new actors bum rates for awhile lol, recoup some money

but they're fucking up. no spinoffs will be as successful as the main show

I don't get wanting to see the script. Ruins the episode.

The dialogue has been drastically better ever since they got past the books. I just finished a rewatch of the series. So much of the early season dialogue is exposition and proper nouns and world building. There's actual characterization now.

Last episode was dope. Jon and Dany meeting. Why complain? The subtle nods to Jon's parentage.

They had to yada yada the two battles because their entire budget went to the better wars/effects coming up.

The Tyrion voice over was effective because it underlined his lack of experience as a commander/false bravado and the underestimation of Cersei.

Just want to see dragons go full god-mode. Its what everyone has waited seven years for. Do it.

but cmonson. literally every memorable line was written by martin. when a show is this dope even an episode thats better than every other tv show im judging it against itself

but i also watched last weeks episode with someone, and i usually watch it solo so i think that couldve affected my full enjoyment, but also my own expectations the entire week before knowing they were meeting, knowing the battle of casterly rock was coming etc.

but word its like a critiquing a certified 10 saying her ankles look goofy. the show is dope to the point where i am trying to find flaws lol

as far as knowing the next episode

yea it ruins it in a sense. but i mean the first 4 seasons weren't RUINED because i read the books lol. my mind has had this fake world in it for 10+ years and the story hasn't moved forward in forever, if there is new info i gotta see it

ive luckily stayed away from the fullseason spoilers though, i think i seen them back when they leaked but i forgot whatever it was completely cuz everything is new to me as its happening

im just hoping the next hack has actual episodes
