plenty. tied all my shit down, ratcheted a tree to the playset, managed to fit my car in the garage (dented the beer fridge tho), bought a generator, filled all the bathtubs with water for the toilets, bought a ton of bottled water for drinking, got propane for my grill and minipropane for my minigrill, got a holster for my 9mm (looting nonsense been going on already), LED lights for around the house when it goes down (can't run generator in the house and can't run it in a hurricane!), a shitload of alcohol, gas for car and generator, nonperishable food, video walkthrough of my house and stuff in case shit gets bad and i need to file a claim... i could go on.

uh-oh 10-07-2016 06:38 PM

i mean i guess, everything i've seen just looks like a run of the mill hurricane, i mean there has been at least one big one every year since i can remember existing lol

but its all any news site is harping on like its an end of the world hurricane

im safe in paradise usa aka ohio da god so i don't fear any of them anyways. maybe if my house was on the water i'd care more lol

Any hurricane above a cat 3 is potentially a disaster

I'm assuming you've never been in a hurricane right?

And it has a lot to do with where it hits.

Like the carolinas, a strong 2 can flood any coastal city
In that state.
