I remember I had to write a verse where no word is longer than 5 letters long or something crazy like that. I struggled with it but enjoyed the process because of that

Props to @Pinot Grij and @asylum for not being idiots. I destroyed Rawn in that battle. Rawn literally private messaged me after our verses went up that he thought I won. And if the voting core had been even half a light bulb smarter or less homophobic, I would have finished the season 7-1 and in a tie with Mike Wrecka for the title, which would have meant a championship battle, which I would have won because let's face it.

Basically, it was my second battle on this site and in three or four years, and I'd forgotten that subtly and difficult subjects don't work on these boards for most voters.

That was actually a good read on both sides tbh. I think I would have voted for you just because it was story-based and done well, but I think that could have gone either way. Rawn did a good job in a very small space. Reminds me of Johnathan something or other...

That verse was excellent.

I also wrote a verse about homosexuality once and was voted against on the basis it was 'too gay', it wasn't my best verse ever but I was unhappy for that to be the reason for losing a vote rather than actual criticisms of the writing itself.

As it stands now, I wouldn't have time to run everything that is of requisite when running a league, magazines and all. I might be able to do so in early summer before AOWL starts, if it will that is. I'm glad I got your trust to run a thing or two in the near future!
