I got my topic 24 hours after the thread went up. Making verses due on Tuesday, instead of Monday - therefore deeming the extension valid for Wednesday.

Open the battle so that I may post.

I don't see anywhere that is says verses are due any certain amount of time after the topic is given. It says they are due on Monday at midnight plus a 24 hour extension. That's Tuesday midnight

Verses are always due on the date stated in the original post of the battles. Extensions are always relative to that date. It says right there when verses are due to be considered on-time bar none to avoid this kind of confusion
