Hmmm, well a short attention span I don't think is an impediment in scientific study, you just have to find a way to keep your mind on the task. I'm not a science major, by the way, but have taken many courses. As for your direction, it seems to me that while you have an interest in the body, its not your prime inspiration, so things like biology and physiology may not be your direction; your scientific inquiry, heuristic in nature, seems to be more philosophical. So sciences that have greater implications can very well be along those lines.
