Blow me, nerd.

I'm out in SF annually and have been to LA plenty.

In n out is overrated. And yes I know its animal style but that would mean nothing to the board that is 99% east coast and midwest based.

jilti 11-13-2014 01:01 AM

Lol in-n-out is not overrated. There's one located literally right next to LAX. so when anyone from a different state/country touches down at the airport, they can see the drive thru 30 cars deep any time of day or night.

Certain 11-13-2014 01:11 AM

Checkers and Rallys are the same. And they both serve goop processed crap instead of real cheese on a burger.

if we are comparing national chains, i will take five guys 10 times out of 10 over in-n-out.

same goes for whataburger.

YEAH I SAID IT.

I visited my bro in texas and he recommended we stop by whataburger. It was ok. So i asked him how it compares to in-n-out, he said "u cant compare whataburger to in-n-out". He said the only comparable burger or might even be better than in-n-out is from a place named the tilted kilt. Its like $11 for that burger tho lol

On a related note; Online Review from someone 2 years ago..

For about the same price, Fuddrucker's is ten times tastier and better-looking. In 'N Out, ringing in at $3.45, is probably two or three times thicker, heartier, and juicier, and beats Whataburger hands down.

Whataburger? Seriously, what a disappointment. Tell me what I'm missing, folks.

I have no idea what Fuddruckers is, if anyone knows?

tilted kilt is a sports bar chain. a shitty hooters knockoff that doesn't fall into the fast food category at all.

fuddrucker's also isn't (or.. wasn't, pretty sure they are chapter 11 bankrupt) a fast food place, it was a sit down restaurant. again, not fast food, not comparable. their burgers were decent but way overpriced.

five guys >>>>>> almost any fast food burger chain (emphasis chain).

Overall good reviews for this five guys place with emphasis on excellent tasting fries but pricey compared to other burger places.

One review i saw..

This place a happy medium between the ridiculous lines at any of the nearby In-N-Outs and not needing table service at The Counter. It's a bit on the greasy side but otherwise enjoyable for something quick and satisfying.

Certain 11-13-2014 11:46 AM

Five Guys definitely is too expensive, as are most of these new burger places. You could go to a steakhouse and get a burger made with the highest possible quality meat and cooked exactly to specifications for roughly the same price (though the fries probably would suck). I enjoy Five Guys but have cut back because of the price.

That's what everyone loves about In-N-Out Burger: It costs half as much and the quality is way better than McDonald's.

Greed 11-13-2014 05:58 PM

Five guys vs in n out

Thats a battle that cant be won.
