God Of War 07-23-2013 07:56 PM

soccer is fucking garbage

and its not hard to hit a cricket ball with a big ass paddle

its easy to judge where its going to bounce after it hits the ground

as it SHOWED IN THE VIDEO I POSTED ITS MUCH HARDER TO HIT A BASEBALL

plus soccer shouldnt even be talked about that shit is garbage and worse then rugby tbh

Mike Wrecka 07-23-2013 08:09 PM

this is the league im in. wiffleball ftw. these guys throw in the eighties and the ball breaks a few feet in any direction they choose. tell me I cant hit a bouncing ball with a giant oar

Also..Americans are so arrogant when it comes to sport lol

If it ain't murrrican it ain't good.

Maybe it is because your country is so big and important, but if you step outside it you'll see your sports are irrelevant to everyone else

these yank fags go to work in steel toe capped boots incase they drop a blank peice of A4 at the office printer.

Flow 07-24-2013 12:07 PM

Ok lets get something straight. It isn't "soccer" its football.

Only the Americans call it "soccer" and they only do that because they invented a sport predominantly played with there hands and called it football....

Now what arguing point do you have against football.

The World Cup averages 1.1 billion viewers per day for the almost month-long event.

Even the UEFA Euro Cup gains more views then the super bowl. The worldwide audience was 279 million in 2004.

If we are talking money won by the winner of the competition. Football again.

SOURCED FROM FORBES

Have any doubts that soccer is the world’s sport? Then look no further than the money.

In the third annual Forbes list of the ten richest sporting events in the world, soccer again reigns supreme. Four of the top five spots on the list are occupied by soccer tournaments. The richest sporting event in the world? The UEFA Champions League. This year’s title winner, Bayern Munich, lifted the 20-pound trophy and a cool $65 million to go along with it.

The Champions League pays out more than twice that of the most prestigious tournament in soccer—and the world—the FIFA World Cup. Spain, which won the most recent World Cup in 2010, received $31 million for the victory, good enough for number two on our list.

world wide majority opinion is still an opinion not a fact lol. no doubt it's watched more around the world
stating the obvious. the argument was that american sports require more athletic ability, strategy, and intellect. i mean u pretty much have to be in the 90th plus percentile of the united states to even be considered for the major league sports

I didn't reload the argument was that. In which case I would admit that hitting a baseball at that level is the hardest thing to do in sports, however you only have to it. Tennis the ball is hit much faster then when it hits the floor slows down to the speed of a baseball and then had to be struck back with only a specific area of the racket and has to be aimed in between specific lines. On top o that the ball can go off in any directions after hitting the floor.... So tennis in that sense is pretty fucking hard to when returning a serve

Flow 07-24-2013 01:08 PM

As far as all round athletics go football wins - Nike did. Training video on ronaldo an the results are amazing. He can run faster then olymic runners jump as high as basketball players hit fast balls and score in the dark kick a ball through multiple sheets of glass an his foot eye coordination is literally the best - agree or not ITs worth the watch

football is the worlds greatest sport.. undoubted. most watched, most participated.

rugby players hit as hard as american footballers hit, but they stay on the field for 80mins not resting every 30 seconds.

as for someone saying a baseball swings, well so does a cricket ball and the fact that you hit it after it bounces means there's an element of the unknown right up until your about to it it. they bowl in the 90 mph's too.

i like all sports no matter where they originate, half y'all ignorant or trolling.

Meth 07-24-2013 02:52 PM

I like rugby and cricket tbc.

Cricket kind of bores me tho, an rugby is NEVER on here.

I wish rugby players wore pants tho.

Soccer is fun to play (real life, or PS3/XBOX)

Just can't watch it unless its a USA World Cup/Qualifier game.

thats completely untrue and nothing you said here is fact other then how much soccer is watched

it was scientifically proven that a tackle from a nfl player is much harder then that of a rugby player the tackling force of the hit is much higher

also as the video posted i showed a baseball player adapted to cricket much easier then the cricket player adapted to baseball. the baseball player adapted much easier to cricket because of the hand eye focus and the fact the bat is much wider

what I said can and have been proven what you have said can not

Seyance 07-24-2013 08:29 PM

so your saying, since everything bar one thing i said is lies.. rugby players leave the field as much as american footballers. cricket balls don't bounce, cricket balls arn't bowled at 90mph and cricket balls dont swing.

er no.

really.. you talk an amazing amount of rubbish gow.

if no troll, your an idiot.. if troll, you look like an idiot.

Mike Wrecka 07-24-2013 08:30 PM

@Seyance how far is the pitcher from the batter in cricket? and im gonna need it converted into feet

Mike Wrecka 07-24-2013 08:33 PM

ok got it. in baseball its 60.5 feet -18.4 meters

in cricket its 66 feet - 20.1 meters

that makes a big difference in reaction time

I can prove everything I said you on the other hand NEVER CAN you never bring fact to the table only this idea in your head that you have some unfound fucking knowledge that you know everything.trust that you don't because 80 percent of the time you reply like you know what your talking about you do not....sure they stay on the field 80 percent of the time and yes I completely disagree that the average speed of a cricket ball is 90 mph it is also much harder for a cricket player to adapt to baseball then a baseball player to adapt to cricket. cricket is easier then baseball

Plot 07-24-2013 10:43 PM

I suppose what it comes down to which one is the real sport and which is the imitation?
Which one came first, and which one copied the other?

cricket was like from the 14 hundreds n baseball from the 17 hundreds

Fart 07-24-2013 11:06 PM

i think we can all agree that battle is the best sport.

Masaii 07-24-2013 11:22 PM

Rugby came before NFL ^^. GOW is THAT guy who never played a high level at any sport but knows about it all, he yells when the UFC is on "oh ma gawd just put Jon Jones in an armbar rashad IT AINT THAT HARD!"

bet you any amount of money i played at a higher level then you played a sport

don't let the steroids cause your brain to act retarded. I guarantee you would not outplay me in most sports. Maybe ONLY rugby and soccer would be it.

God Of War 07-25-2013 12:05 AM

i play something sport wise atleast 4 times a week whether it be basketball, tennis, racquet ball, football with the homeys , softball or baseball

ive blew my knee out so bad i still limp at times from it over basketball on a pretty high level aswell

I am literally one of the only ones in my group that smoke and etc, most of em is in uf or graduated

Masaii 07-25-2013 05:46 AM

LOL I had a full scholarship to my school for rugby and played for my state and trained with the national team. Nope dont think so.

GOW got a wrist injury playing cards, his shuffle has never been the same since. RIP.

Flow 07-25-2013 05:54 AM

@God Of War you said proven stuff about rugby and football tackle strength? Question, was this with the mad amounts of gear the footballers wear? Just curious as that makes a big difference when measuring weight behind the force. Be interested to see the footage if you got the link?

Masaii 07-25-2013 05:55 AM

He has no proof of anything, notice how he never backs up his points, he just likes to argue and spew ignorance.

Flow 07-25-2013 06:10 AM

I'm sure there is I just hope it isn't the sports science episode that shit was so biased

Seyance 07-25-2013 08:37 AM

lol, gow is one the least athletic nerds around here. i've represented my country for football, where as that's just one of his alias'.

A typical fast delivery has a speed in the range of 136 to 150 km/h (85 to 95 mph).
so that's one thing researched and one point proven right for me, whats the average of between 85 and 95? 90mph haha.

why would i go further in depth, the guy is a retard.. the ONLY thing you could ever question from my original statement was that rugby players don't hit as hard.. yet he tried to question EVERYTHING.

but it's all a troll, a person can't be this idiotic.. or he'll make out like it is anyway.

Mike Wrecka 07-25-2013 11:23 AM

only one way to settle this. im going to challenge those indian fucks to pitch to me next time i see them playing
