1. zygote (8-2)
2. Zombie (3-0) | No one has ever before seen anything like it.
Very diabolical match up right here. I'm under the impression Zombie is Big baby? Am I rite? If that is the case of the matter of the scenario of the matter of the fact... Zygote is going to have to bunker down in his spaceship again and really blast off into phenomenonal territory. I began reading his verse because he dropped it already and I was not sure what was happening so I stopped. I will give it a another thorough look over once the big baby drops his verse. Is big baby really Zombie? Well if so, he is a very versatile writer with many poignant styles. I see this enigmatic writer taking Zygote to a dog fight. If the efforts are there, hard for you to pick against Zygote... Zombie is a very different kind of writer and he has the momentum. Alien president could be Zombified.
Contender match
3. timeless (6-4)
4. Split Eight (2-2) | This can't be how it's supposed to end.
Timeless and Split 8 in the contender match. Can't call it. Timeless is solid. Split 8 is wishy washy but he has the edge here if he can execute his fantasy. Timeless can win if he comes direct and creative enough.
5. Perpendicular (1-0)
6. Frank (7-3) | This is your chance to prove yourself.
If peperpendicular is pent up... Red glare will have a field day with him. If he is not, best of luck alias. Red glares got something to prove.
7. Vividlyvague (6-3)
8. Certain (2-2) | It'll make a man out of you.
Bombastic vs Non spastic. If vividlyvague can center his frenzy and write with crazy clarity he can out perform the lazy Certain. Certain verse about Sterling showed a spark of creativity and was up to date and fresh. The man can really write. Can he put together 5 wins and make the playoffs in his own league? Vividlyvague is 6-3 but can he beat the Iconic Certain? If not he'll fall to a 6-4 with nothing to show for. If Vividlyvague defeats Certain - he will have made waves and significant progress in the topical spectrum. If Certain beats Vividlyvague - he will just have made a statement. I got Certain containing his opponent. Defense wins championships.
9. Just Write (4-3)
10. King Ra. (4-5) | We can do this if we work together.
Cheif Justice Write is a fundamentalist. He will go to great lengths to tell you a drawn out story about nothing really out of the ordinary. He's like Forrest Gump in the tent when he's writing back home to jenny...He is not that bright but he has this midwest charm to his campfire story telling.The King Ra is telling a very different story around that campfire - resurrecting ancient manifestations of epic proportions. His writing dates back to B.C. King Ra is the Sun God and the ruler of creativity. Just Writes writing goes back to the dust bowl era, sometime, somwhere in the 40's or 50's. When these two time periods collide, be prepared for a time warp. King Ra with the dagger through the shield.
11. Mike Wrecka (4-5)
12. YDK (3-3) | How will we ever make it stop?
These two guys are usually at these 2 records at this time of the season every year. Mike and YDK have both gotten better as far as mechanics are concerned. They have both really stepped it up and I'm a big part of that. I'm proud of these two guys. Only one can win though. The winner gets a second chance in the AOWL. Mike goes to the formidable 5-5 with a victory. YDK goes to a peaking 4-3 with the victory. On the other hand, losses send both into no mans land. Looking foward to this blue collar battle. I got Ydk winning with the unsuspecting knock out jab.
13. Adonis (4-6)
14. Cereal_Killa (1-1) | It's the only thing that's important anymore.
I love how these topics that certain picked out have been right on the money. Adonis and Cereal Killa are extremely egotistical self centered topicalists. Adonis is another loss away from paddling back from rough waters. Cereal Killa is the powerhouse from season 1. A flamboyant writer who makes Adonis read like Certain. If Cereal Killa can pick up where he left off Season 1, Adonis can sway and gimmick to his hearts content, he will be annihilated. I got the Killa with a colorful pouncing.
15. Vulgar (4-2)
16. oats (8-2) | The whole world is depending on you.
Wholesome, rich and fullfilling battle. *relights pipe* Vulgar is a little shell shocked from his loss to me, it seems it might've knocked him a little off track. When I told him I would beat him with his own style I was just joking. This guy went and took it to heart and reinvented himself into some bad guy. Oats is reeling and Certain is throwing everything at him. Champ match, Champ Alias and now he's got him tussling with the wizard, Vulgar. Vulgar and Oats has already probably happened, but I guarantee it did not have the same implications or significance as this match. In a classic Vulgar - Oats epic trilogy face off... Vulgar hands down.
17. Johnathan Mercy (1-2)
18. MMLP (0-4)* | Nothing really matters anymore.
Jonathan Mercy is quick on the draw. Drops early and is in and out. MMLP is 0-4 and I know nothing about him. Jonathan mercy with the sure win and a string of victorys after that.
19. dead man (0-2)
20. Soulstice (0-2) | You need to figure out who you really are.
Legend is I was going to beat both these cats single handedly in the AOWL Season 1 semi-finals. Topicaldood5 ended up getting rocked in the finals by the phantom deadman - who was allowed into a playoffs he never really qualified for. Don't get me wrong, in a 4-5 round playoff/Tournament style setting deadman is extremely dangerous. In season mode, he gets exasperated, winded, busy, whatever and he does not fair well. At 0-2 though, the loser of this is still probably most capable of turning the season around. The winner could easily rattle off wins until the season comes to an end. Fresh legs. Neither will likely make the playoffs, but this is a rematch of the season 1 championship, as well as for hierarchy across the internet.
