I grew up saying nigga. Out here in cali (well I'm speaking mostly down south areas where I used to live, or the bay ) mexicans and blacks used it equally. In the valley (where I am now) there's a lot more white people, and so the atmosphere is a lot more uptight when it comes to racism.

think I've told this story before. One of my bestfriends is white. Grew up in Chicago with all the GD's in the projects and was affiliated. The dude has mutual extended family with me thats pretty strong in the streets, fuck some fine ass sistas, a G in every shape of the word, and knows he has the "pass". I've known dude for like 15 years and not once has he ever even uttered the word and knows on the strength of who he is that he can and wouldn't have a problem with anyone, but he doesn't.
