loling cause, you thought it was a foot but it was someone riding a ski thing, and people were arguing your metaphorical points and writing "it drew a picture so profound you dont have to understand where it came from, you guys need stuff spelled out for you" LOL BIG BABY LAUGH that means they really didnt correlate zilch because you were writing about something completely different, and were just on your soulstice peenor cause youre soulstice!!

@nycspitz u dumb as hell

loling mad hard.

and the battle was 9-5 uh oh not 8-6 as its posted btw.

Witty 01-21-2014 03:55 PM

And also, I have always used it. I see it both used and not used over here too tbh I was taught to use it at school so it just looks normal to me and it looks weird when it isn't there.

Good call. I had skimmed over oats' vote and only read the first two words of this paragraph before moving on:

Quote:

Vote: Soulstice had the better writing no doubt here, but in the name of being fair, I just can't bring myself to give him the vote simply off the fact that it was so disconnected from the picture. So I vote for Uh-oh.

oats 01-21-2014 04:03 PM

I wanted to leave vote puzzles like baby :-/

dead man 01-21-2014 04:08 PM

thats actually dope @Soul. it took me a second but i can understand how you would take a quick glance and see that instead.

laughing at baron's vote now. angkor's too. i mean its natural to over-interpret and see patterns where there are none. look at projective tests. rorschach, TAT etc.

still though. sometimes a whale is just a whale.

big baby 01-21-2014 04:12 PM

@Pancake I'm sort of upset you didn't have a piece of the voters votes? @oats was clearly inferior with his 6 piece jigsaw puzzle compared to my 1028 set masterpiece

oxford is weird. never see commas anywhere on the cobbled streets. lots of tourists. or foreign students. can't tell which. ameri***cents are horrific, though.

american accents are pure

PancakeBrah 01-21-2014 09:38 PM

Except for the South. And New York. And Boston. And Chicago. And Minnesota/North Dakota. And some others.

I have a pure American accent, though. Pure as the driven snow.

uh-oh 01-21-2014 10:22 PM

word cake

word

i want to move to england. the times i've conversated with british chicks always left me with an i should impregnate them vibe. probably just because of the difference.

if i lived there my regular american voice, would probably just makes there pussys fall out.

i bet it works both ways.

because i want it too.

well...this is certainly embarrassing - acting like i knew the meaning and all, lol. But in hindsight, it does make more sense with that picture; my apology. Still a dope verse, i thought.

And great job on the mag, duke.

Eŋg 01-22-2014 10:44 AM

i think english girls (the ones who can speak properly) feel american girls sound like bimbos. don't know about the men. can't see the yank accent being well-received. different strokes, though. i would say my accent is pure but wouldn't like describing it as such. sounds like something aristos would say.

PancakeBrah 01-22-2014 11:14 AM

Female bimbo-ism is our #1 export

Just Write 01-22-2014 11:33 AM

Hey guys sorry for my lack of votes ect. My 6 year old broke his leg so ive been pre-occupied but ill hit up the rest of the matches in the tourney. Good luck to everyone left

Witty 01-22-2014 02:30 PM

The Irish accent is well received everywhere.

Everyone loves us.

Until we get drunk and sleep with your daughters.

Even then, we just do a little jig, a wink, and a 'Top o' the morning to ya fella' and all is forgiven.

Certain 01-22-2014 02:45 PM

The Irish are OK, but Irish-Americans are the worst.

NYCSPITZ 01-22-2014 02:47 PM

man exotic bitches with that english accent sound sexy as fuck yo like fly indian bitches with english accents and shit. That irish shit just sounds retarded imo but it's playful and manly which I can see lots of women gravitating to

oats 01-22-2014 02:52 PM

nothing sexier than a good, thick, rural Chinese accent. except for maybe a nagging filipino tone, that really grinds my gears.

Certain 01-22-2014 03:01 PM

I've plotted out my verse and will write tonight.

I'm trapped in a Starbucks with an hour and a half until a news conference starts.

Why haven't you posted yet, @big baby?

Belle & Sebastian are inconsistent but pretty much amazing when they're on.

No.

There are Irish people (People who live in/were born and raise in Ireland)

There are Americans (People who live in/were born in America)

Irish Americans are just Americans.
