If people don't start making em I won't bother posting links or even voting. Seems stupid that I clearly shouldn't need links as you'd struggle to find something I aint voted on with detail and then others just ignore the warnings and don't bother voting or whatever....

It's not a DQ win, it's supposed to be the battle isn't allowed to be voted on until 4 links total go up from someone... Which could mean you putting up 2 more unless youre fine with a battle or two in limbo. What I'm going to start doing is closing just before the potentially last vote could occur if needed. I didn't want to be tooooo forceful my first days running this so I've kinda been subbing my own old votes in for missing ones since I vote on 80% of things in here since january and haven't really been active til a few weeks ago.

If you put 'no (username) votes' or something in the first post or your checkin, their vote won't be counted

Well even with that in mind it leaves voting wanting....

It basically means that person A can do no voting and wont post links, and if Person B wants to get the battle voted on then Person B has to go out and vote on 4 as opposed to two...while the other does nothing... Its like a fucking welfare state lol

Perhaps it would be easier to make it so that you HAVE too post two vote links BEFORE you can even drop your verse.... Probably wont happen though, this forum would need a lot more moderators to manage it effectively.

it's a tough spot, yeah. before they drop would make sense in theory but definitely annoy people. most dudes here are good about voting, only complaints are vets who come in and get other votes in a flash and dudes who just disappear without dropping links like xnub

all in all id say 65% reach their full potential on votes, with activity as it is i'm not really complaining.

True but there are a ton of battles in the BA that have been open for AGES and yet more battles are started all the time... I can see your point don't get me wrong. Just a fucking pain in the ass lol
