Always wondered how the interviews are actually done, like do you PM eachother back and forth, allowing time for concise responses and questions, or do it on some type of messenger service, where its more conversational with bits edited out?

Also, what's people opinion on the spelling of "its/it's" ?
I've always felt "its" should be just for "more than one it" and "it's" should be the possessive or the contraction of "it is"
Reason I ask is 'cause my grammar Nazi aunt says when it's "it is" it should be "its" and when I googled it there was an equal opinion on both
