I mean, if you want to let your opponent write longer than 48 lines, you can say, "sure, go 60" or "sure, go 100" or "sure, go as long as you want" or "sure, go 52," even. Or you can reject the extra line request. That's all up to you.

I've seen many battles where one writer wrote twice as much as the other and still lost, though. Keep that in mind.
