@Universe, you are correct sir. This is what happens when I answer before having my coffee.
Edit: I guess coffee is overrated. |

I have 8 lines to go @Universe

how many lines you guys going this week? 150?
|
Glad there's an upper limit on those things. Remember one time seeing a topical where a guy went literally 200 lines to try and beat his opponent who was ranked higher than him (still lost, lol). Longest battle verse I've ever seen.
Can you picture 12 or 20 writers putting a novel to paper every week? Not enough hours in the day. Not enough brain cells to take it all in. |

Lol, "Dude, you missed the character development of the cousin I set up in chapter 7 and her motivation for stealing the emerald necklace in chapter 12. It's intragyral for the group dynamic for the expedition to the Island that starts in chapter 23. You bloody philistines!"

You might want to revise it. |

Y’all need to catch this Rogan musk podcast I think I’m getting smarter just listening
And word UNI last weeks drop left me with so many questions! |
Scar's interview was added to the mag last night btw don't know if I put that out there worth a reread!
|
lets have a group discussion. in terms of story, its it better to end on an ambiguous note or a concrete closure? i only ask because alot of my stuff are kind of left to interpretations, and i'm never sure on whether that's the best course of action you know? maybe a concrete, fleshed out ending is better.

But yeah, you came full circle in our battle and people loved it. I'd say aim for a concrete ending. |

I prefer to leave endings open to interpretation. Maybe it’s because I come from a poetry background and that’s always the norm with poems. More abstract story telling for me. But I also appreciate when a writer brings it all together in the end. Tbh I think it’s just preference you will never satisfy every one like UNI said. So go with your gut is my final answer
|
I guess it depends on the ending, for example:
"Saddled up and rode the dusty trail into the sunset" is better as a vague ending than.. "So I took a shit on her bed and left." As a clear one. Maybe I'm wrong.... ...maybe I'm suddenly tempted to make that the ending to my piece next week. |

Another battle open. K fellas, I'll try to get my vote in today.

Wow, I just took a look in the archives and saw what went down with Diablo. First time I've seen fake text messages being screenshotted into a topical battle debate before.
Sorry I missed the drama. lol |
