I'm assuming you've never been in a hurricane right?

And it has a lot to do with where it hits.

Like the carolinas, a strong 2 can flood any coastal city
In that state.

a fuck drizzle floods charleston lol

Video walk through was a smart move.

I've had a generator for numerous years now since a bad ice storm once. It will save ya. Wherever you end up putting it in the case you may need it make sure it's dry and possibly elevated, but hey, you know this.

Remember if you're gonna have to loot... move with the crowd and stay on the edges

nobody's looting this house.

it's half the reason i stayed behind lol

but yeah i'm still just pissed @ lowes for telling me they had transfer switches and it was a lie. i really prefer to have circuits run off the generator so i can have lights, ac, etc. instead of a bunch of extension cords to certain appliances.

so lame.

I've been through both.

A tornado and Katrina

The tornado was surreal

I was outside two minutes prior to one hitting my house

I distinctly remember saying "it's oddly quiet tonight"

Like all the normal stimuli u experience when going outside was somehow sucked away

Think cicadas..wind..etc
