I kinda ain't believing that one, g. Knux was pretty dominant for a good stretch. |
I meant physically deleted from life Strik
We never battled, not active at the same times I would have beat him though |

I remember on LO- Sengoku, Nexus & Pulse were laying down the blueprint. Not really a sha77erstar fan. But he did attract attention.

It needs breaking down into eras for this kind of thing...

not the best of each or the most influential the first champ level dude ever |
My favorites. 2-9 is in no order.
1. Psylense - to me, he has always been the illest textcee around. On RM, he was a beast with verses. He used all facets of netceeing, something that is forgotten today. He wouldn't downplay the readers intelligence with "thugged" out verses. He would just write illness. String 5-syllable multies together five times and pull everything into context. Being a 'bastard briton' his pronunciation was off but that didn't take away from his dopeness. During his RBL run he really raised the bar. My personal favorite punch of his would be: Blocking this nark, slight shrill in slaughter as Psy might spill this author I feel i ought'a put the heat to ya mouth and turn ya ice grill to water That's just a quick example of his dopeness. His wording was perfect. Nothing was extraneous and everything flowed together so well. Hands down my favorite. Fracture - is an obvious choice, but still necessary. It's weird that someone can have an influence that spans across the net. Even today his punches are relevant and a favorite of biters netwide. He managed to dominate both the battle and topical areas of text at the same time, and he proved so in the highest competition levels of the RBL. This guy even ended up facing himself in a champ match at one of the RBL's peaks. That should give a good idea on how ill he is. your girl is varsity with my dick, and i letter jacket He was dope. And he still is. That's all there is to it. Evolution - has always appealed to me. His shit in the RBL was waay better than the PBA. Problem is, that he could be pretty inconsistent. Still, he was in some of my favorite battles, ever against Epi and Psy. His raw multies and quick wit were deadly. His flow was nothing short of exceptional. He didn't try and link complex thoughts together, instead he just attacked at a level that hurt like hell. He could make simple punches amazing with ease. i shatter frees and crumble textcees as this cracker keys its sad to see you got AAA on ya cock but still not the badder-E Dope... and a bit more. Resin M-I-C - is probably one of the most creative around. He has horrific set-ups with horribly forced multies but his punches make up for that. He is one of the best generic writers, ever. Oddly, he can also murder pictures like none other at the same time. He even pretty much invented the three-line style... although that's not too commendable because now it's an outlet to stretch lines, it shows his influence. Check where u stood, u'd be Untouchable if I wreck on the good Hang yourself on a tree & show us the ropes from your Neck of the Woods! Sick. Rudge1 - could drop horrific filler, but then would come in without a knockout punch. If you compared his best, to someone else's best, he'd take it. No question about it. He was creative at hell and could come up with punches that would appear ridiculously simple but are in fact multi-layered. I haven't seen him around for three years but even today he could hang with the best of them, no doubt about it. He also dropped my absolute favorite punch, ever. Let's talk about my win percentage, since you brought it up Godly. Relentless Fists - has a lot of lines that would be called played today, but back then he originated them. Fisticuffs is one of the most consistent textcees around. He utilized some of the most creative similies that I've ever seen. But aside from that, he could just write raw punches. In fact, some of his lines are still being bitten today because of their crazy illness. Was a bit too generic at times, but could still hit with mean personals. Easily UA's finest, without a doubt. Great flow and great punches. sick yet complacent, he'll menage a trois... and I'll leave out with details... but if we cut out the middle man Sho'd finally fuck a female It was too hard to choose a favorite... Storm-G - is a wash-up, but he used to write ridiculously good verses. On UA and in the RBL he showcased some of his best stuff that very few could compete with. Even today, his old verses could still hang with a lot of the material around. His ability to use subtle wordplay and quick, but hard punches was in a league of it's own. It's too bad that he stopped caring and suddenly became wack. However, if he wanted to - my guess is that he could pick right up where he left off. You don't just lose illness. if i dont bake this match.. kid it dont matter winning wont be a piece of cake but a dish of the batter One of the many... MetaSin - had a subtle quality of illness to his raps. He was witty as hell, but his punches weren't all up in your face, either. His verses didn't have the agressive nature that were, and still are, embodied in a lot of the writing today. Despite that, he still managed to come up with incredible punches that even today would be considered nothing short of crazy. MetaSin was, whenever he put his mind to it, one of the greatest. we both battle, but i guess i just never felt ya Ry cuz you do text as well as I, just not as well as I Sur*5*ILL - like MetaSin, he lacked the aggressive nature that was so common. However, what seemed like without effort, he managed to hang with the best of them. For someone who stretched his name so much, it seemed unlikely that he could drop coherent wordplay. But that's exactly what he did. His battle against Epimetheus would be in my Top 5, without a doubt. He managed to drop fresh punches and have so many copiers. People tried to emulate his wordplay, his adjacent lines - but no one was able to master it like him. Unfortunately, I could only find one punch that shows how dope he is - but even that doesn't do him justice. smash ya wit, high voice in ya audios; ya stance is grim; Sur murdered this tenor...So there's no chants for hymn; A master, and one of the originators of homophone based punches. Can't decide on a number 10... but honorable mentions go to Shadows of Darkness, Defc0n, Radius, Bladerunner, Storm Chamber, Advance, Aloe and others. |
I couldn't tell you a sole dominating force, people back then were kinda loyal to 1-2 sites tops. It wasn't like today when everyone at NC is also at at least one other site where we've competed.
Everyone will have their own opinion depending on where/which era they came up in. |
My favorite battlers back in the 2002-05 era were Fracture, Rygar, Aloe, Himself, User Name, Rudge1 and Resin M-I-C. I didn't even like the latter two that much stylistically, but some of their punchlines were so damn good.

Don't get me wrong, I liked him & his style.. but he was on the overrated side if u asked me. Wish he was still around tho.. it'd be interesting to see how he'd hold up in this era. |
I like neighbor, he seems pretty dope and is awesome with teh rhymes. Not as good as me, but nobody is so that is ok.
