Spurs actually seem to play better when Parker isn't on the floor. He overdribbles a lot and does too many iso's. I remember last night both Parker and Duncan were frustrating the shit out of me in the second half. Maybe it's because the Heat started playing really good defense on them or maybe they just weren't playing well. Idk. All I know is they kept trying to feed it to Duncan in the post and every time LeBron or someone would come over and immediately slap it out of his hands or deny him the ball. This happened a LOT. With Parker, he would inbound the ball, dribble dribble dribble, try to penetrate, fail, dribble dribble dribble, take a contested jumper and miss. Was very happy when Pop took them out the game so we could start building back our lead again.

Other than that though Leonard, Green, Diaw, etc all played great. Leonard in specific was insane and clearly the best player on the floor. LeBron started off with 14 in the first then a stunning 8 points for the next 3 quarters. Completely vanished. This is something Heat stans seem to have forgotten about this dude. He isn't always in attack mode. Sometimes he's just passive. Leonard was shitting all over him, forcing turnovers left and right. The man had more turnovers than assists. C'mon, man.

Green was an animal as well. Had 5 steals. Dude was destroying Wade, picking his pocket like a fucking thief then knocking down the 3 or going to the basket for the easy lay up. Everyone was going complete ham. They started off 19 for 21, they were shooting over 90% from the field. Best NBA half of all time. Heat are in trouble. Game 4 is a MUST win for the Heat or they are finished. Then after that they pretty much have to win the next 2 as well if they want to close it out in 6 in Miami. They don't wanna go back to San Antonio for Game 7. Last year Game 7 was in Miami and it went down to the wire even after one of the worst collapses in finals history in Game 6. If this goes 7, Spurs are winning.

There's nothing surer than that.

then ginobli comes in and is able to get penetration and kick it out the way parker usually does

spurs played the best basketball ive ever seen in that stretch the way they drove and kicked making the extra pass every possession, the spacing, defender recognition etc
