also chyeaah did you see the pics from there new telescope? basically capturing the universe in its infancy? only like 3 million years old or some shit after the big bang?

ima try to find it. shits crazy.

looks like the hologram of a planet almost.

"The all-sky map is based on the first 15.5 months of observations with the European Space Agency’s Planck satellite, capturing the oldest light in the universe, emitted when it was only 380,000 years old, the agency and the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics said in a statement."

not 3 million my bad

380,000 years old

right now the universe is estimated at 13.82 BILLION years old. so this is the VERY early stages of the ALL

They have started on a minute scale here on earth to fast travel through space. Some man (forgot his name) manipulated negative energy which was groundbreaking, even though it was only a tiny bit that was manipulated. They are not trying to create a spacecraft that can go 'fast' enough, they are trying to think of ways to manipulate energy around them to get them into that warp speed star trek shit.

And again lets just say that there is a life source out there that isnt violent and hasnt destroyed planets due to this, they couldve been around for hundreds of millions of years even more, in that time space travel would have been perfected. Also their science would be different to ours, theyd have elements that we havent even heard of and vice versa. Its all relative.

name one form of life that isnt violent to other forms of life.

and word i know they are looking into stuff like wormholes, and bending space time, but until someone proves it possible, its all science fiction. i dont completely close out the possibility, but personally i think its a silly idea the way they describe it. like folding a piece of paper over or whatever, and none of it is based off of any semblance of fact, it stems from a belief that there is a such thing as a white hole. which we have not found, and to our knowledge doesnt exist, and that somehow matter that enters a black hole comes out of a white hole or some nonsense

im of the belief a black hole is just some type of matter/substance that is so dense nothing escapes it. when something gets sucked up by a black hole, i dont think it is going into a HOLE. i think its just some type of matter with gravity so strong everything just gets sucked to it and broken down to its purest forms.

but im not a scientist.

i only have a GED. but some type of "planet" or mass for a better word being so dense that nothing escapes it, not even light, makes more sense to me, than some type of science fiction portal or whatever people will have you believe

and when their theories arent based in any type of fact, i find my factless theory holds up pretty well in my mind.

There are plenty of species here on earth that arent violent to others unless if they are fighting for their life, 99% of herbivores for example.

Black holes are a whole other thing I dont want to get into them as its all speculation anyway and no one really knows for sure the ins and outs of them, although there are plenty of interesting things on youtube about them :)

uh-oh 04-10-2013 02:02 AM

herbivores eat plants. anything alive is fighting for its life, at the detriment of other life. it could be argued that plants dont, because they take in shit from the sun, photosynthesis or whatever, but they need the fertile soil and ground to grow, and that soil is fertile from dead LIFE. nitrogen and other shit it takes from the soil.

but word the main parts where im disagreeing with people in this thread is shit we can't prove. i like to keep my mind open to possibilities, but not so open that i actually believe them personally until im shown enough proof to back that belief up.
