im a raiders fan and even the bucs didn't shred us this bad. Sports world was talkin bout the brady manning legacy game but seriously this embarrassed peyton more than losing in the afc championship did to brady. I didn't think the seahawks would make this look so easy. And the broncos didn't change their offensive scheme one bit. Im ready for world cup 2014 sure to be more exciting

uh-oh basically is saying he knows more about analyzing cornerbacks than NFL offensive coordinators and quarterbacks.
Richard Sherman does not get tested because teams know what happens when they test him. |
Lol there's a reason they dont throw his way.
|
They never throw his way. But when they do he's lead the league in picks this year and the past 3 years combined. He's the best corner in the league. At worst, him, Haden, and a healthy Revis are interchangeable.

im not ready to crown him a shutdown corner
he's a good/great corner. but champ bailey used to be one too, but he was never really a shutdown corner. you could get off on em i just dont like the term shutdown corner. every amazing corner i've ever seen in my existence gets beat. i wanna see him get them int's i dont judge players off stats. you can throw out the 20 which is impressive fasho. but he's also apart of an excellent defense as a whole, and quickly glancing at his game by game stats you can see the teams he got off on had terrible QB's, this year at least. so i don't let stats factor my opinion on players, i let there play do it. i havent watched every one of his snaps. the snaps i do watch, he looks good, but he's gotta be the least thrown at corner in the league, if they keep that stat. i wanna see him tested is all im saying before i crown him i hated on revis too and still do. i never saw him tested, i just hear sportscasters hype em up and when i do watch they dont try em no idea what he did in tampa this year |

Basically, uh-oh's point is that he does not watch every single play by every single team and therefore refuses to praise anyone.

i have respect for joe haden. i've watched like 4 browns games this year and he really impresses me. and don't get me wrong tho, i don't think sherman is trash by any measure i just personally can't put him above these other top tier guys. they're all good. i want to see him tested as much as i've seen the others i lump him in with. because when i look at stats he's getting off on dudes who make careers off throwing picks so that in itself doesnt impress me just looking at a number on a page. its a record that it happened. but he couldve been standing 20 yards from anyone and just got it thrown right to him for all i know. the ball couldve been swatted up etc. |
Joe Haden's interceptions the past two seasons:
3 off Andy Dalton 1 off Joe Flacco 1 off Chad Henne 1 off Michael Vick 1 off Charlie Batch Richard Sherman's interceptions the past two seasons: 3 off John Skelton 2 off Eli Manning 2 off Colin Kaepernick 2 off Carson Palmer 2 off Sam Bradford 1 off Tom Brady 1 off Kellen Clemens 1 off Matt Schaub 1 off Ryan Fitzpatrick 1 off Mark Sanchez |

who really cares who he picks off. Most picks are off deflections anyway. Im more interested in passes knocked down that interceptions. But yes he is the best corner in the game. And if ppl don't throw to you then yes you are shutting them down just by being a presence on the field. If I was a corner and didn't get action all game its cuz im doin my job
