these players in the OP are in there primes

so no, there's no way harden can be $5

or kevin love. kevin love isn't $5 even if we talkin TODAY

Certain 12-05-2013 12:54 PM

I missed the part about the primes. But then why only put current players? Even so, Kevin Durant clearly has had a better prime and career than Carmelo Anthony.

Love has averaged 23.7 points, 13.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists a game for the team with the sixth-best point differential in the NBA. He's the best power forward in the game. LaMarcus Aldridge is the only other one with a case.

...the Nagger 12-05-2013 01:07 PM

he's the best player one of the worst teams

no credit bro

Certain 12-05-2013 01:08 PM

One of the worst teams? Like I said, the Timberwolves have the sixth-best point margin in the entire NBA. They're 9-10. They'd be the third-best team in the Eastern Conference and still could make the playoffs in the Western Conference.

PancakeBrah 12-05-2013 01:43 PM

Deron Williams - $1
James Harden - $2
LeBron James - $5
Tim Duncan - $4
Roy Hibbert - $3

I win. Thanks for playing guys.

but the eastern conference sucks

so what is that saying?

that he is the best player on a team that sucks

sorry bro

PancakeBrah 12-05-2013 01:52 PM

Eddie remember when you thought the kings were moving to VA and I lol'd at you and in turn you said I was an idiot.

What a lark.

StarFaggot 12-05-2013 01:54 PM

Pancake wins. Duncan adds some spacing bc he can shoot 20ft out, that allows Bron to have driving lanes and he can kick out to Harden or he can lob to Hibbert. Williams will be at top of key, Harden at the right corner with option to shoot or dump it to Hibbert. Lebron and Duncan will be on the left side where Lebron will be able to penetrate due to spacing and then put up a shot, lob to Hibbert, kick back to Duncan and let him work solo.

Williams, Harden and Bron can run the court. Duncan provides the half court offense. Defensively Harden is a liability but not much. Everything is as a lock.

PancakeBrah 12-05-2013 01:56 PM

Word.

Also, good luck scoring around the rim with Hibbert and Prime Duncan. Plus LeBron is everywhere.

Certain 12-05-2013 01:58 PM

Now that I know we're talking about primes, I'd go:

Rajon Rondo: He doesn't have any desire to shoot and plays best when he's in important games.
James Harden: He can shoot and has played well with Durant in the past. Manu Ginobili should have been a choice.
Kevin Durant: I'd have to weaken other positions too much to take LeBron James.
Tim Duncan: He's the best ever at the position.
Roy Hibbert: You want a defensive center. No one would score inside against this lineup.

Going with Deron Williams instead of Rondo in order to get LeBron, as PancakeBrah did, might make sense, too. But Rondo has that extra gear that Williams never showed.

okkk.. they almost did tho? you act as if I made it up out of thin air

they also almost went to seattle too

and if I called you an idiot its because you ARE, not because of that remark

PancakeBrah 12-05-2013 02:04 PM

prime deron > prime rondo.

Lebron is too much of a value not to have on your team

Certain 12-05-2013 02:06 PM

You're probably right. Deron Williams has played like shit since he got to the Nets, and I think I'm underrating how good he was before that.

...the Nagger 12-05-2013 02:07 PM

rondo gets triple doubles with 44 points in the playoffs with no jumper

NYCSPITZ 12-05-2013 11:17 PM

kobe rondo smith bosh hibbert

...the Nagger 12-06-2013 07:59 AM

real talk, Rondo will take your team deep on the playoffs, whether East/West imo

Williams can't. that's why he's a friggin dollar

KwaL!ty 12-06-2013 10:22 AM

Williams $1
Wade $4
LeBron $5
Nowitzki $3
Cousins $2

Certain 12-06-2013 11:45 AM

Taking J.R. Smith or DeMarcus Cousins is automatic disqualification.
