So what's the penalty for not making the deadline? Is there one? Minus one vote? If there's no penalty then really, what are we doing here? It's been a week... these guys/girls can't write 30 lines?

Funny thing is, he could have. I left the door open with how early I posted. But, that said, this basically amounts to a no show... again. Give me someone next week who is going to show up please.

Yeah i mean it's been a weird week definitely but we all checked in and had more than a week to prepare. There's not really an excuse for it, if you absolutely need an EXT you need to ask, Sletcht was the only one to say so.

We got to be stricter with the rules going forward. If you don't make the deadline it's minus 1 vote, regardless if you request an EXT or not. Having no penalty turns the verses into this waiting game where ppl dont post when they're done because they want to post last or have more time etc.

You get a 24 hour grace passed the deadline with a minus 1 vote penalty. After that it's a loss and you're out of the league for 1 week. That's the only way this will work.

In the case of dead man and orrie, whoever posts first gets the advantage and the other guy minus 1 vote if he posts after. Otherwise fuck em, hand em L's and let's move forward.

Yeah i agree, there have got to be penalties, and i like this logic tbh. Deadlines are in place for a reason, so we don't run into another 10 day hiatus situation.

I see what you're saying but for the sake of trying to cut some of these no shows down i decided to give him a little leeway. Also I'm of the same opinion as you were two weeks ago when you were no-showed, I'd rather win because my writing was the best in the battle, not because i was the only one who bothered writing.

That was before I got jaded by all the no shows lol. But respect man.
