It’s based on my personal taste. Lyricism plays a large role for me. Subject matter, voice, beat selection and listenability, too.

What do you consider aspects of an artist that take Aes out of your top 5?

I guess it’s the fact he’s massively underrated and never mentioned much outside of niche places like this. He’s super talented but I feel he failed to connected in a wider lens with his music.

But I’m not denying he’s dope
