I think a lot of people here seem more focused on discerning meaning, in finding their own value in verses. I do that while I read, but the reason we want feedback is so we can improve, right?

Bold for truth.

This is condescending to say, as you're a strong writer, but your feed/analysis is your best contribution to this site. A true editor.

Well it's when a trans-gendered conjoined twin stick's it's nuts into your mouth while the other half jacks you off. They scissor you ass and at the same time rub that conjoined piece of skin that's between them all over your body; it's real tricky to time, but when done properly you all climax at the same time.

Fuck man, dont make me write fucked up shit like that again, I had to think about that !

This is funny because Pancake was just telling me how he was mad at my interpretation of Grizzly Bears, and that is why he was coming at me sideways in a thread last night!
Deja vu!

I'm onto your game, shitbird

Aesthetic 08-25-2013 02:13 AM

Whats a shitbird? That's a very subjective clause.

You ever writing that verse, shitbird?

PancakeBrah 08-25-2013 02:15 AM

@Split Eight

You didn't feed that piece. We had many a romantic PM about it. The Grizzly Bear thing was just a pettiness that tipped the scales of how I feel about Vulgar feed. You can insinuate some sort of insulting self-centered bias in this conversation if you like. It's wrong. But you're more than welcome to do it.

Vulgar 08-25-2013 02:15 AM

The problem with the Grizzly Bear piece was that the first time I fed it, it was a slow process before I misclicked, or typed, and bye bye went quality analysis. Weeks later, the retry was a scrawny, malcontent version of the original feed. All in all, I say what I think and try to do it in a courteous manner. I probably used to treat this medium (and feedback especially) in a more orthodox way. Maybe I need a break from rhyming for awhile in order to rejuvenate my mental faculties.

'Keep doing you' was said to me a long time ago by one of my earliest rap teachers, so I decided to adapt it for usage in his honor.

Certain 08-25-2013 02:17 AM

I think the "keep doing you" and "never let anyone tell you how to rhyme" sayings espoused so often are poisonous. Yes, it's a hobby in a field that has no earning potential at all. But that doesn't mean we should write without the goal of improvement.

Aesthetic 08-25-2013 02:18 AM

Who the fuck would write a song about grizzly bears.

PancakeBrah 08-25-2013 02:18 AM

I would never suggest you stop posting rhymes as your Open Mics would probably rate as #2 in clickability behind black's. Although you and the collective of dull/bwhaha aliases do battle.

Split 08-25-2013 02:21 AM

Not sure if you mean morally wrong or what

I rode my bike to a party down the street and rode back shitfaced

20 mph on a bike, drunk, is a great feeling

Vulgar 08-25-2013 02:22 AM

Nah you don't need to worry about me disappearing as I'm not a delicate flower. I'm actually interested and semi-riled up by these observations, Caketh. I do feel like I agree with @Certain Serpent on the feedback meme sayings, but like I said, they helped me grow as a writer so I think nurturing is an important aspect in harvesting newbies. I used to be really really inspired to leave feedback on pieces. Now it feels more like complacent ritual - hence the reason why I said maybe I do need a break, else I do a disservice to an upcoming Kid Dynamite.

Ya

Not inspired atm, day after tomorrow I think I will be good to write, sorry for delay

PancakeBrah 08-25-2013 02:24 AM

Word. You should try writing some with some emotional weight. And in response I'll write a science-perfect attack on a subject with great rhymes and no emotion. With a socialist slant.

Vulgar 08-25-2013 02:25 AM

I wrote a pome about a stripper. Possibly emotionless. I can't tell.

Good use of 'poem' as a condescending noun.

The switch off offer stands. We could make it a collab.

How is that condescending? I love poetry.

And yes, I accept, but only if it's not about women.
