komugi was cute. i don't mind illumi nor youpi. knuckle reminds me of takamura (beyond just the pompadour). pitou was a bitch, fuck her/him.

and yea, of course. there's patently parallels and influences from yyh to hxh so even if you didn't know togashi authored both, you'd likely lean toward that thinking. toguro da gawd.

I hated Pitou. SO MUCH from birth, basically, and especially so after killing Kaitou (who I forgot to mention in my fav characters!!!)

After she broke her arm for Meruem/Komugi, and the moments that lead up to her being killed, I started liking her (in the manga iirc she is a he, or maybe even genderless? but I think in the anime Pitou is confirmed female?). I liked the dynamic of Gon seeing that she had the ability to care and it fucking up his already fucked up/broken mind to want to kill her so badly.

personally, i liked seeing her... get her head caved in with repeated jajankens by super saiyan gon.

but nah, you're right - her shred of humanity built the intrigue of that messy scenario. she looked female but i always just thought she was a hermes, also.
