But also, Sankofa was like 1995-98, whereas Mudf00t was 1999-2003. I doubt that his stuff from that era would hold up that well, like @sraL's favorite Sordswinga. But he was considered the best in the days when other top guys included Deacon the Villain, Kno and Jugga the Bully. Here's some of his rap: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RkuNdyNbxc I don't listen to him because of the voice and the delivery, but the lyrics are pretty respectable. |
It's between Headless verseman, revanon or an unknown head called triggaboom. Trigga had text sites older than any i can think of.

Damn diode how you get all these addresses

I remember hearing this, wonder if anyone can verify/debunk it. You know Sacario? You will probably know him from this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePmt1tFDtW8 anyway, this dude named Multi, who was regarded (as I recall) as one of the GOATs of the AOL chat room era, fell off the map abruptly because he was Sacario and got signed/had moderate success. idk, this is piecemeal from my memories of a long time ago, so yeah, anyone know of this or am I just full of shit? |
I liked that song, even though it's kind of terrible. But yeah, if you listen, Sacario is using rhyme schemes a little more complex than the typical mainstream rapper of that era, and it wouldn't surprise me if he had some experience with text rap (though I'm not saying that's the only reason).

So Sankofa or w/e is the answer?
|
Also for those of us who rnt pussies like @oats
U may remember sacario from Sacario - Live Big (Car Keys) Original Song 2001: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukiM2AwQ7gE |
