I would really appreciate it if you could point them out and explain to me why/what is wrong. I didn't really pay much attention in school (wish I could go back in time and slap myself for that), and I lack the ability to write well when it comes to things like this. People seem to mention that the grammar errors are there but I'm having a hard time figuring out when I'm fucking up and when I don't.

@Innovator: If too many commas is the only thing that bugged you I think I'm actually improving on that department. :) I thought it was more past/present tense, verbs etc.

You cant even put down a detailed vote without 15 + minutes yo, you expect everyone too have solid critique that ain't rushed? Like I mean, im not revolting lol just saying like a part time job dishwashing is like 1-3 hours... So uh like maybe help everyone out and put in a tally system with a small summary or cut the amount...

^ i see where you're coming from. the issue i have with systems like that is, then you're basically saying every verse needs to hit certain criteria...
i'm a firm believer in knowing when certain mechanics are necessary/useful and not tossing things in for the sake of having them...

Im not saying change it too that specifically; Im just saying something should be done too change the amount of time we spend voting whether it's less votes or a new system. Because I cant put details on 5 minutes of voting, but then again I cant and don't wanna spend 30 minutes on 1 battle ya know when I could just say "Work on your flow, vocab. Vote goes too for a better piece 'Because:' "

But on the same level, as an artist I want a in depth breakdown and I feel like everyone deserves it. It's just a matter of time, scheduling, effort, motivation, thought, etc.

Im not gonna spend more time voting then I will be writing, and if it gets more then 2 hours too get these artists what they deserve then I will drop out of the league out of respect...

You don't need to write up a book of a breakdown when you vote. If you want to go that in-depth, you can. There are some who do that for some match ups and then a much simpler explanations for the others. It's not that difficult. No need for regulations. Voting on 5 match ups isn't bad. There are guys here who vote on every match up, every week. So really there is no excuse for anyone. If you feel you can't drop a decent explanation for at least 5 matches then you should sign out of the league. Voting is an integral part of a league as much as other factors are.

To those who are always slacking on votes, and I know who you are.... punishments will be handed down. As in, rejection from playoffs. So get it done every week mofo's.

hey man i really respect what you have to say, as much as i have to say something..

thinking to much about a vote to the point it becomes problematic.. might take away from the purpose.
if we get too involved with a piece, we can start to interject our own feelings about it..
as well as waste time. so if you're like me, maybe we just look too deep into shit
instead of giving our first thoughts like i feel i should. that's just me though. good points made though man. props.

As Keith said, we don't need a novel of an explanation or something super logically deduced

It just should be what you likd from each verse, a quick review of what they did and what did or didn't work for them, and a final short bit why X person won

@King Keith I think excluding ppl from playoffs would be too harsh. We either gotta enforce voting laws in a better way (link thread works well) or tally up total missing votes

Also lets keep non blowouts open till tonight so ppl can vote. But y'all do have a deadline to be fair haha, it just is the league is running better than it theoretically should. Anamoly

I think if you get no showed u only should owe 3 votes, cause it saps motivation and its one less battle to vote on

Voting on art should be personal, I think. There are so many styles here, it's pointless to look at mechanics/ aesthetics as the base for voting lol. "Personal enjoyment" as long as its justified (often by mechanics/aesthetics) should be the deciding factor. Otherwise whatever 'site' is most dominant in our beautiful fledgling conglomerate AOWL will start dominating other styles

our different outlooks.. both kind of make sense in a way.
but i definitely think your polar opposite approach is the more appropriate here.
