I'm discovering how weird Season 1 was, particularly with regards to voting. It's interesting.

The most obvious example is Red glare getting swept 6-0 by TYSON. I've read that battle three times now and each time feel that Red glare's verse clearly was superior.

Yeah, Season 1 was definitely weird. I went back and reread my verses awhile back and only liked two of them. That feels like that was five years ago.

I did the same thing, the verse I did as Clutter Buck was completely experimental in style, my lines were chopped down in length to about half what I'd usually use and I choose to put up a topical against a storyteller just to see how it would fare. I don't stay signed into leagues long enough to champ these days, just a couple weeks at most between writing for live battles to keep my creativity going.
