Idk about everyone else but i venture here less and less because of some who have gone.. and mostly because of the ones who have replaced them. This moron above me being prime example. smfh

Eviction 10-27-2020 11:56 PM

I watched all the halloween movies this week, I swear they changed the time line several times now lol.

Geno 10-28-2020 03:22 AM

Love those. Them and the friday the 13th flicks are the only slasher films i really loved growing up. Otherwise nah. I aint feeling it like that

Scar 10-28-2020 11:27 AM

Belly was ass, my man

Ajax 10-28-2020 11:56 AM

The First World War. Ten part documentary on Amazon prime or IMDB tv; styled a lot like a Ken Burns flick. Incredibly well done and informative. People forget how insane that war was... and how much it changed everything.

Can’t remember the last new fiction movie I watched was. Usually, I just watch the classics I’ve got saved on Apple TV. Last night was Back to the Future and Aliens.

Resin M-I-C 10-28-2020 01:28 PM

yea I wouldn't be watching if it wasn't Halloween, also the first season of slasher on netflix was pretty cool, didn't care much for 2nd.

I also watched we summon the darkness, and the new the craft movie, it was cheesy but the ending was dope, David Duchovny is the man.

Love that docu

El Muffin 10-28-2020 09:40 PM

I would love to see Spielberg tackle the First World War

Paths of glory is obvi my favorite cause I love everything Kubrick but I just want to see a high production ww1 film one day . If only there was a way to capture the conflicts on all fronts .. cinematography gold. The vibrant uniforms .. hell .. the Ottoman Empire is grossly underrepresented in film

1917 is damn good. The entire movie is two shots. It’s pretty insane.

UPN Zuch 10-28-2020 10:52 PM

Children of Men has the best single take scenes.

Objective 10-29-2020 03:00 AM

Just saw The Lighthouse the other day, it felt like reading good book while watching it.

El Muffin 10-29-2020 03:22 AM

1917 looks incredible

I was more so speaking of a Spielberg take.. you know .. capturing how visceral everything was

But chrIst this is shot well.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o46tGsFPnNo

I heve to see this movie now

Edit: .. the burning church scene ... Holy shit mendes really was on some shit Witt this one

Kuality 10-29-2020 04:10 AM

Yeah 1917 was dope.

El Muffin 10-29-2020 05:51 AM

I had heard about it ..

Heard it was boring .. n kind of just phased it out of my consciousness

I see that was a mistake

But it didn’t win awards for nothing

I’ve just been under a rock when it comes to films lately tbh

I wish I had seen this in theaters .. sound / everything is so masterful

El Muffin 10-29-2020 05:53 AM

Idk why but the burning church scene reminds me of There will be Blood

You know what scene I’m talking about too

Ajax 10-29-2020 02:02 PM

It wasn’t boring at all. I think it’s one of the best war movies ever made... and that’s saying something.

dead man 10-29-2020 10:05 PM

just watched escape from new york

fire

Objective 10-30-2020 09:11 AM

Was about to ask what "escape from new york" is about but realized that's a pretty stupid question to make

I saw Social Dilemma a couple days ago, eye opening about AI and our future with earlier key people/CEOs and developers from sites such as Twitter, Facebook and the likes that now takes a stand versus the sites and apps they've built

10 Cloverland Lane... I won't give up the ending...

Its with Dan from Rossane.... and honestly I wouldn't say its good, but... last semi good movie I've watched.

Ouch 10-30-2020 11:28 AM

worth watching at least

Ouch 10-30-2020 11:33 AM

My wife and I watched all the Haunting of Bly house... again its alright.... i'd give it like a 6 though.

My shit is like O brother where art thou... Royal Tennebaums and all that...

Eviction 10-30-2020 02:00 PM

What about Rob Zombies Halloween reboot from a few years back? I think it's the most violent and gory in the series, but fuck what they did to lorie strode and micheal in the end, I heard it ended like that because Rob Zombie didn't want to make another one, and he didn't want to do it in the first place because he don't like reboots, he said he might as well so someone else don't fuck it up lol.

Exploading how though?
You gonna have to elaborate, for me to know if I'd be interested

Machine Gun Kelly had a bitch exploding at the beginning of The Dirt

If you mean exploding emotionally, I don't follow the hype

spontaneously combusting everywhere.

I honestly think someone was blowing people up with their mind but they didn't reveal that in the movie, it was more a play on the pandemic and a virus was causing it.

plus the chick is fine. I haven't seen her like that only in the curse and 13 reasons why she didn't look like that.
