I wash my hands slightly more often... but thats it |
if I lived where I grew up i'd be worried.. but i'm not now... although even around here yesterday people bought out the toilet paper...

Our leading medical authority has decided that it's just a chest cold They probably don't need you at the hospital any more |

I don't think you understand what the word literally means.
|
it is a coronavirus. coronaviruses are colds. you get a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion of the sinuses. in severe cases you get a fever as well, maybe bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.
it is very literally a cold. just a new strain we haven't built herd immunity to yet. |
It is a sudden acute respiratory syndrome. It’s not a cold. The common cold is usually caused by a rhinovirus, not a Coronavirus. If you want to know more about it, I’m pretty sure Amen went to medical school.
|
It’s also attacks the lower respiratory not upper respiratory system which is why it’s so problematic, along with the rate of spread, fact that it’s new and we don’t have any antibodies to it, and it seems to spread pretty easily by the asymptomatic which is unusual as well.

is h1n1 not a flu disease? |
I mean, is it mild? No. Is it upper respiratory? No.
So, I fail to see how you posting it’s a mild upper respiratory disease is me saying the sky isn’t blue |
it is a coronavirus. coronaviruses give the common cold. rhinoviruses do as well. if it was the wuhan rhinovirus i'd be calling it a type of cold as well.
quit being a nerd and nitpicking shit. read the article. everything it is, is in there. how its spread, etc etc. no vaccines, only treating symptoms, hard to test for etcetc its a cold. a bad one, that can wreck you and become a bad time. but saying its not a cold is inherently false |
And, saying it is one, is inherently what?
Not “nitpicking shit?” It’s killing lots of people fast. It’s not giving them the sniffles |
Des reallllllly making James his bitch in this one
|
its a new strain
i get you guys want to dunk on amen and he is downplaying it by calling it a cold, it just isn't the common cold. its a "novel" cold virus. |
