I mean idk what you think I am going to do or even want to do w the leagues ? All I'm saying is in need access to be able to mod/demod people in certain circumstances... such as let's say @Cred gets a phone call from a rival gang on a giant stack of rubber banded cash and is then assassinated in the mean streets if chicago....I need to be able to replace him etc

Also there are other sections here aside from the 2 leagues that are completely dead that need moderated that I need to find mods for an mod sum1 etc etc and so on

If I pester your league participants. .that are more familiar with me then u anyhow then you can simply take away my abilities....obv

I never said you wouldn't be allowed to do that though. All I said is I didn't want you interfering in the leagues since they are finally stable. Somehow that turned into "stop limiting me / stop pulling the strings / I need total control".

Ok my understanding was I'd only have abilities in this forum.

I came back because of the nbl....I've no desire to meddle with it.....or the topical league

So ok

here's what i am going to do:

1) i am going to back up the site and database to cover my ass

2) admin you with the same powers as all the other admins (who aren't limited in any way other than viewing the admin log (it causes conflict) and running direct sql queries (for security purposes - this server hosts multiple sites off the same db)).

3) disable the User PM reader because it's also caused trouble in the past

3) hope this isn't all some hollandaise fuckery because i really don't feel like having to restore a backup

do with that what you will.

the current format has worked out great for ensuring there's no fuckery and butthurt affecting the results and participation in the leagues. i'd like to keep it that way. not accusing bags of having a desire to run roughshod over the leagues, but keeping them in their isolated boxes seems to have good results vs. past efforts.

this kid is due any day now. i need someone to handle the boring stuff and getting disc going. i don't need a namix or gow (as so eloquently put earlier).
I just post and occasionally jump in with a bit of modding as and when required

the board generally speaking runs itself with the other minions in place

maybe once ppl have had account here for a year and a half, they could get certain mod privileges so the board couldn't be self-policing?

to be honest, we usually meet in the mod lounge and collectively agree on who to put in place and whatever to cover the diff forums

obv diodes decision is final, but generally, he listens to what we have to say

all of this could have been kept out of the public disc forum

lmao @Bags he believes it's a setup because after you "left" he thought me and Knuck were going to destroy this site or that we had setup a new board for everyone

lord knows why he was so paranoid, but that's the truth

tbh I stuck around but Knuck deleted himself and left also

so it looked madd suspect I admit

but that's why he is weary
