That actually isn't the definition of racism, you do not have to oppress someone to be a racist. The belief that they are inferior based on their race is the definition of racism, if you believe that, you are racist....no matter what race you believe it of.
The definition of racism:
1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
Also, my white people were pretty oppressed for a while..by which I mean centuries. Tortured, murdered, raped, thrown off their land, made to work as slaves. The whole package. Though that was by the Brits, but they certainly believed the Irish to be an inferior people.
