Basically a few weeks ago when Republicans were sent fake ricin he was up in arms and I said maybe don’t spread fearmongering when it was probably trolls or very radical leftist that are not supported by the mass population of leftist. He was saying all leftist were monsters and needed to be stomped out basically. Now with the bomb scares he says it’s leftist attacking each other because republicans “don’t do this kind of thing”. When asked to present examples of how this is a normal thing for leftist and no lt for the right, he provided a few stories. I provided stories of hate crimes and other stuff that is alt-right violence. His argument either accepts that both sides radicals represent the mass, or that neither side accepts its extremist. He refuses to give both sides the same treatment and has nothing to back up that logic. When I hit him with dat diode knowledge he responded with that lol.

I would ask him if there is a type of human which is competely unable to be violent. When he says no, then tell him

“ since l you admit that all humans are capable of violence how do rectify the contradiction that the right does not do that. “

This should work. If it doesn’t we can go deeper.

Ask him then, “ok I am willing to admit that both right and left extremists are capable of violence are you? And if so... out of 100 hypothetical occurrences of violence that are politically motivated what percentage would you say could be fairly attributed to the left and to the right?”

After he quotes a percentage tell him thank you.

That should end it.

If not he will say that the left does far more hate crimes or politically litigated violent acts....
