Everyone thinks every line that is specific to them is played. The reasoning is that they saw it used X years ago by [insert legend's name], and it was better then. We all remember our own battles. No one else does. A concept being played really comes down to the voters' memories, not the actual use of the concept. And in a league full of newcomers, that collective memory isn't going to be long.

descend, while not new, also fails because nobody pronounces descend as 'des -send' but as D-send, which strangely also works, but was clearly not his intent.
