Software Development for the masters
the BS will be in IT and I don't like my field |
word by BS do u mean information systems tech or computer science?
|
lol i don't understand the ? really
I'm getting a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology the Masters is called Master of Science in Software Engineering they have masters in information systems information assurance and telecommunications |
u answered the question without knowing...bravo.
if ur srs and really want a leg up on other comp while going to school if u can manage sign up at a vocation/tech school and take some cert classes just some advice, take it as u want. |
python is definitely still in use. if anything its java that's phasing out.
but a basic bg in c and c++ will help you no matter what you end up doing with computers. whether you decide to go the networking route or the information security route or the software dev route or the web dev route or the system architecture route or or or. then, after you put this class behind you and depending on how ambitious you are, you can dive into fun, expressive languages like ruby (my personal bias) or functional languages like haskell and scala. have fun creating! |
word, im not to into code personally...did some c++ and sht a while ago, wasn't for me
i know a dood who just finished learning vrml tho...shts pretty dope |
Haha i dont think youre really ever 'finished' with learning a language, but i get what you mean. & ya, c++ isnt for a lot of people, its a fuckin mess of a language to learn. the good thing is there's 1000's of languages out there, so if you don't like one, maybe you'll like another, it just may not be too useful economical wise lol. i mainly do web dev and some information security. im only in my early 20s tho, so i havent decided where i wanna take my career, but currently its web dev.

word @MMLRLK
when i worked for IBM I did server consolidation and implementation...it was pretty cool... but yo isn't python like real specific to certain programming and useless in others of something? I rmbr someone saying something about that to me, when I asked what their book was on bc I was with a bunch of tech ppl and it had a huge picture of a python lol |
Rawn pls stop posting.
|
Pancake, if my posting annoys u so much just take advantage of the ignore feature...
it wouldn't make any difference to me considering I rarely mention u. and if i do its as a reply... Sounds like a win/win |
I am actively trying to stamp out your petty theft existence.
