Not a playoff team... Wizards haven't added any pieces but an unproven rookie who tanked in the Summer League - how does that change one of the most dysfuntional franchises in the league?? Oh, and Eric Maynor.. an overhyped backup point guard. Sure, Boston and Philly drop in the East, but Cleveland, Detroit and Toronto are all improved this season. Plus, Wall has never played a full season... I don't get why teams max out these guys that can't stay healthy, ie. Eric Gordon

Exactly, agreed

Joe Metts 08-01-2013 11:40 AM

You can agree all you want facts are with nene, beal and wall in the lineup we were 7 seed easily lol and in that lineup Wall had better numbers all around then Chris Paul. Guy is a on athletic freak. Plus we were a top 5 defensive team which is where we're undervalued. And the guys we have are being undervalued. Webster, Seraphin, Okafor in particular. We're not better then a one round and done team but believe me when healthy were a playoff team. I watch 80% of there games

Eastern Conference mentality... team plays around .500 and sneaks into 8th only to get bumrushed by Miami in 4 games. That's nothing to get excited about. They're still garb bro.

Joe Metts 08-01-2013 11:47 AM

Im not excited about that. Im just simply proving that signing a 23 year old phenom is an essential piece to the bigger picture. Maybe porter becomes a star. Beal will be a beast. We keep our young core together for the future man. You take Wall off the team we're the worst team in the league. With him were potentially a piece or two away.

Inno 08-01-2013 12:41 PM

So for the next 5 years the wiz get to the first round?

That aint worth 80 mill.

uh-oh 08-01-2013 12:47 PM

what happened to arenas?

i used to hate the fucking wizards

lebron used to school em up

CAVSSSSS

PancakeBrah 08-01-2013 12:49 PM

Pinot when wall was healthy with beak the wizards were good. That's a good starting lineup. I predicted a 6th or 5th seed

...the Nagger 08-01-2013 12:52 PM

who huh howtf are ppl saying john wall sucks and ain't worth this money?

the 80 mil ain't even guaranteed or nothing

and beal + wall together is a BEAST back court, one of the best combos

smh @ this thread

I'm thinkin the Wizards are paying for potential here. John Wall ain't overrated ... he just hasn't lived up to his talent ... yet

5th seed. So you're saying that Washington is going to do better than one of: Miami, Brooklyn, Indiana, New York, Chicago

Good luck with that.

Agree w/ this wholeheartedly.

1. this is only 7 teams
2. Was would have been better than Chicgo last year (5th seeded) with Wall in the lineup, and probably will do better than Brooklyn this year.
4. washington will be at least a 6th seed this year
3. Do you watch basketball bro?

PancakeBrah 08-01-2013 02:47 PM

Washington is better than Detroit and Cleveland. Possibly new York too.
