will it affect our trade with other countries? sure

will it matter? not really since we are still spending trillions on military shit like aircraft carriers subs drones planes etc, and buying out whole nations rights to there resources

so we wont really need to trade, but countries will need to trade with us to get at some of the resources we are monopolising

china isnt dumb tho, they're working on gathering as much of these resources as well and its pretty even. so countries might be able to trade with china for those resources for cheaper

but really no ones money is backed by anything, so none of it matters
