I marked out hard for that vignette. And I do think they will have a program. They're both relatively the same age and Sting has proven he can go for more than 1 match a year. I'd say 2 of the safest workers in the business have consistently been Sting and Taker, and Taker is most concerned with who he wrestles with being able to protect him. The feud doesn't even need the streak, so with that out of the way WWE creqtive can just focus on booking perhaps the most demanded dream match of all time.

Sting is not well known for being a "ring general". Most in the biz have said he needs to be carried to a good match. This is why he did well with Flair. Even Warrior has stated that when he tagged with Sting that Sting mostly wanted to "follow instructions".

I do feel he and Taker would be a dream match. That's how the streak should've been ended tbh.

Its pretty well known that warrior was a horrible wrestler tho....coming from most he wrestled with.....no?

Steph thing is rumor. Savage cut a promo on HHH on machoman.com after HHH called Savage a dinosaur in an interview. Savage made some comments about taking Steph from HHH. Shit was mad funny too.

Savage was never banned either. Vince was pushing younger guys and made Savage an announcer. Savage still wanted to wrestle, so he signed a deal with WCW. Vince even gave Savage well wishes on RAW the next Monday after Savage left.

Yeah bro, Warrior never was a good wrestler. Even Warrior knew it too, he joked about it alot. He was just a bodybuilder who developed the character of Warrior. To his credit, he did have a vision for the character and ran with it.

Diode 08-28-2014 07:46 PM

Batty

The ban was after he left for WCW. He had the announcing gig after a serious injury and nearly retired. Money talks though and Bischoff got his ear. Vince and Triple Gagne got wind of the Steph story while Savage was with WCW.. and he was persona non grata ever since.

Strikta 08-28-2014 07:46 PM

I'm DDTing everything in sight if he goes.

& yes he was horrible.. but if his ego didn't get the best of him he would've become polished w/ the experience.

It didn't matter tho, he was a beast.

Benoit did what in vain tho?

@Diode - peep the interview macho did where he explains that he felt like he had more years left as an active wrestler and he left because he didn't wanna do commentary.

Remember the WWF New Generation campaign? Diesel, Razor, Shawn, etc? That's why Vince benched Macho. There's lots of rumors but it's more likely a case of Vince wanting to move on from Hogan - Era wrestlers after Hogan left. Vince took Hogan ' s word that he'd never compete against WWF.
