Books were cool. Movie was bad. Poor camera work, and the grittiness of the movie was bypassed in favor of something more marketable.

its somewhat similar. its inmates in the future being put in an area that they have to survive while people try to kill them. if they make it to the end they win their freedom.

it was an Arnold Schwarznegger movie , which was great , and the book is by Richard Bachman
