Just a tip: Try to post one verse at a time in separate threads. Also, it's not good to post more than two or three pieces per week since every writer is looking to get feedback and opinions here. If you want to write and write and write (and submit) there is a cypher section specifically for that.

I was kind of hoping to have my own thread where I post my own pieces or verses (complete or not) and get advice on how it can be improved & whatnot. I'll keep it to a minimum and keep my shit in my text files & revise them & stuff before posting new shit.

It can be a complete piece but try to look at the size of other people's submissions here to get an idea of what reasonable lengths you should think about. In reality, if you desire to post 300 bars, go for it. But good luck finding anyone who'll read it. If you break up those 300 bars into 15 pieces, twenty bars each that'd be preferred conduct.
