only critisism i have for the ASOIAF series is that Martin puts in too much detail at times. Like half a fucking page detailing how cool someones (not even a character that matters) armor looks. But it's easy enough to skim passed those parts.

And if you do the audio book route, the reader is awful with voices at times. I had to stop the audio books because he butchers the living fuck out of Varys' voice.
