@campbells callabo torney.. I think it would fail horribly. The collab battles at the nwl flopped misserably cause no one wants to read/vote on four verses. Its too bmuch work for the reader. If were going to do something like that then it needs to be designed for the reader.I think maybe a fight night style writers event would be dope.

Mods give a topic. A short time limit, maybe 10-12 line verses and the votes don't have to be extensive as hell. Thiat sounds more like it. But off to wsork, we can talk more about this later.. but basically, just like fight nights.. it can happen randomly, and the whole tourny is over in the same night with a champ crowned and a new accomp to boot.

I dunno if it's been said...but mags are a great tool for activity in a forum, if you can get someone to do it weekly or bi-weekly it might help.

Orrr you could have an incentive...the top 3 OM writers of that month get to to choose the people and verses they want in HOF (Or whatever it is called here), as well as the usual panel.

On a side note: I really need to get back into writing just for the fuck of it when I'm bored...I've been lazy lately.

But ya, I think cake is gonna do the mag for january, right now its a monthly thing. But a bi weekly sample mag wouldn't be a bad idea, something. A little less extensive than the monthly mag

Yeah I posted the mag idea earlier in the open mic chat then I saw it's all ready been suggested. But yeah I think it would improve the traffic flow into the open mic for sure
