@Certain what are your thoughts on the Illmatic vs. ready to die debate? I'm pretty firmly on the Illmatic side, but I can respect people who prefer RTD.

Those are my favorite two rap albums by far. Liquid Swords and Aquemini are third and fourth.

I prefer Illmatic because of how tight and perfect it is, but Ready to Die was much more ambitious and pop-friendly. And ultimately I think Notorious B.I.G. was a more talented rapper than Nas.

Illmatic is like that 9.5 who wore her best clothing and made sure everything was in place, while Ready to Die is a 10 who threw something on quick and didn't bother with makeup.
