Cant stop, wont stop

uh-oh's DIY Life would be the best reality show.

Geno 03-22-2014 12:33 AM

typically.. when your brake fluid is low -it means its time for new brakes.. not time to add more fluid and just keep it moving lol

the dumpster like a boss bit slayed me though

does ur shit have abs

that happened to me years ago. some idiot used a compression couplet to fascen two brake lines and the pressure blew the couplet apart lost my brake fluid and car wouldnt stop... i was on a hill rolling right toward the garage of my house. thak god i had a good e brake on that whore

YDK 03-22-2014 12:50 AM

not reading everything lol but flush brake lines, check to make sure lines aint kinked or clogged. if everythings good there make sure you HAVE BRAKES still on the pads and rotors and drums or whatever brake system you have lol simple shit

uh-oh 03-22-2014 12:51 PM

i got a big ass hole in my brakeline

not really because it doesnt leak when its sitting

but i put fluid in it, and hit the brakes and shit sprayed in my pops face

tried crimping that line off with a pair of pliers but was looking like i was just gonna break it so i stopped

it doesnt shoot as much out now, but its still fucked

its coming out right by where it connects to the back left wheel, if i could just cut that off i'd be straight

uh-oh 03-22-2014 01:16 PM

yo i borrowed the pliers off my honduran homie downstairs, all i have are sockets and ratchets. no wrenches or pliers

i'm trying to think of a way i can just put that one brakeline out of commission

i used the pliers to bend/crimp the fuck out of the metal brakeline itself, but it didnt stop it, its still going through what i did, and i dont want to do anymore because it could break it completely/put a huge hole in it.

i'm trying to figure out how to dead that brakeline. my front brakes and my rear right brake seem AIGHT

so if i could disconnect this one i'd be golden

how would i do that tho?

if i figure out which one it is coming out of the master cylinder, if i unhook that, it'll just run right out of that hole right? or is there something to stop it?

trying to think of something i could jam in it I DUNNO

FUCK

Frank Metts 03-22-2014 01:35 PM

How much money do you have to work with?

uh-oh 03-22-2014 01:51 PM

none

im just trying to figure out how i can stop fluid from going to my back left wheel. i tried smashing the line with pliers but i didnt smash it good enough/if i smash it anymore i think i will break it off completely

than instead of it shooting out when i hit the brakes, it will just pour out

i looked online and figured out which line it is coming right out of the master cylinder so if i need to do anything up there i probably can. it does happen to be the hardest one to reach tho

i mean i could probably drop 20 or 50 bucks on something, but im not trying to fix it, im just trying to dead that one line.

i havent paid the electric in 2 months and the 1st is coming quick i got rent due and theres no food in the house other than like 6 packets of ramen a can of ravioli and a packet of hot dogs and a loaf of bread

shits real out hereee. any money i spend on this car takes away from money to eat

so i need the cheapest fix possible

Hush 03-22-2014 02:09 PM

This is gonna end bad

It's your fucking brakes. Do not do this. You're going to kill someone. Get a bike.

uh-oh 03-22-2014 02:16 PM

its my BRAKE. singular. i got 3 other ones. 80 percent of your car stopping is the front brakes. 20 percent is the back. i'm losing 10 percent of my brakes

and im driving it either way if i gotta put fluid in it every time and squirt it out as i drive, or if i crimp that brakeline off and not shoot fluid out

me crimping that line is much safer

i will kill no one i drive like an old man anyways

so if you don't know how i can dead the one brake line to my back left wheel, then stfu nigga

Frank Metts 03-22-2014 02:50 PM

Well you cant just turn off one brake

uh-oh 03-22-2014 02:59 PM

im reading online that people have done it, but they dont say how, and everyone else is a fairy like certain just saying how wrong it is to do that

im pretty much fucked bros

im gonna junk it and go to some buy here pay here no credit place and try and get something on payments

i just can't afford payments tho so im pretty much fucked

on paper i make 350 a week, but i ain't guaranteed that work is gonna be there

alot of them places want like 150 every two weeks, and i've been scraping by the only way i can afford that is if i get 40 hours a week every week of every month

springs coming so i SHOULD have the work, but i can't guarantee it

i need to find another job

which sucks ima have to cut the beard

god dammit

Hush 03-22-2014 03:13 PM

Yea at the "risk" of sounding like a "pussy"
Ducking with air in ya brakes is no joke

CtrlF4 03-22-2014 03:20 PM

By a repair kit and some tubing cutter. Then replace the line yourself. It's easy as hell. I just did my fuel line two weeks ago. My fuel filter was rusted and wouldn't come off.

Geno 03-22-2014 03:38 PM

man, brake lines are so fucking fragile man. crimping and tampering with them are hard. even if you have a small pinhole -the best route is usually replacing the line.... perhaps you can go to a junk yard and get what you need... if your a decent mechanic and have tools then it would be a lot cheaper that way. otherwise... best of luck with your expenses and godspeed fixing it. i know how it feels to be carless. mine was just impounded for three days and literally got it out friday. fucking annapolis city pigs are assholes

uh-oh 03-22-2014 06:41 PM

word

buses only go so far tho, a couple months from now would be different the shop is moving, part of the reason there moving is cuz they are tucked away in the middle of nowhere north canton and they wanna increase visibility and shit

but word bus isnt really an option until after the move is complete in like julyish

but if you have any better ideas for me i'm willing to listen, but keep in mind my credit is as bad as credit can be, and i dont have anything for a down payment.

i got my sister to take me to work and pick me up monday and after work im having her take me to abc motor credit where i can give them 100 bucks and leave with a car and a ridiculous payment i probably can't afford

Seems like you got your mind made up homie

I just wish your beats really did bring in decent quick bread because I bet if you look in the penny saver ( or whatever your town calls their local free paper ) you could get a more then decent car that gets you from point A to point B for around a G

Best thing to do in that sense if find an older person who can't drive anymore and generally they have a car that doesn't sound new on paper but if could be 10 years old with a year or two worth of real world mileage on it an for a steal of a price ... I know time isn't on your side

Don't you have a homeboy at work that would take some Paul malls and cash for rides to work ?
