It's funny because babCOCK felt a suffocating D-zone would work against USA who had the best offense b4 the game. You never know in these short tournaments, Canda almost got beat by Latvia and USA rolled through their prelim, I mean USA should've lost to Russia, but I expected a U.S. win. Babs just couldn't find any offensive chemistry even with 3 prelim games against some wack teams so decided to close it up and it worked...he's a great coach. Better than Bylsma by far. But USA should have won this, they should've anticipated the collapsed D and tried to wire shots through from the point with traffic in front. It's a North American game on euro ice, there should be greater mobility at the point...but we don't have a Weber or a DOughty back there oh well.

Canada has seven now. But even if it still were six, they mathematically should win 20% of the time.
