@ Zen. We are implimenting something just for that, a sort of heads up group of folks that share information. The Flying Feces Coalition, a network geared towards awareness and precautionary prevention for events like these. Not to prevent the events themselves, but to prevent less casualties for ourselves and those around us. NAQ is a member, I'd also like to get Badweather, Vulgar, Veritas, trap, and a few others who can contribute information based on there location and skillsets/backgrounds. Altnerative information being shared on an array of fronts for awareness and preventitive efforts.

NAQ, I've told you and a few others on here from FL to get further inland. On another note, how in the hell do I edit my signature?

As for my area I know enough to know how to get out of shit but don't consider me an expert or anything. And it seems like a good thing. Hopefully it'll do some good if the time comes to need this information.

Chyeahhh!!! 03-26-2013 01:24 PM

thats good just as long as you don't consider me an expert either. :) We're all in the same slave boat here and I don't even wanna play like I'm captain of anything lol. Whatever information you can contribute will be good

Zen 03-26-2013 01:46 PM

Well I suppose the advice I could contribute may seem obvious but most people probably don't think of and that's to know your area. And I don't just mean roads I mean wooded areas as well as you may have to walk to get to where you need to be. If something happens the roads may be unreliable so know how to get to where you need to be whether it be a designated safe zone, high ground, etc. Also a plan of where you need to go if something happens. Some may call that paranoid but it's better to appear paranoid and be prepared than be lost with no idea of what to do. That's my two cents.

inundated or seismic activity or the nuclear fallout from Asia. take your pic. Thats is one thing I failed to mention folks. It depends on if this is a domino effect from a global event or just for your neck of the woods.

@NAQ same thing applies as stated from above. You guys have the Hurricanes to worry about. As long as you stay south of the Northern tip of the storm while out to sea you'll be fine. Though ideally it would be great if you could just steer clear of the storm as a whole. lol
@dead man, you're a dead man. Great Lakes, nuclear fallout, and New Madrid. I haven't factored in Yellowstone but you get the idea lol.
@Nigma I've been asked this before and I don't know why I haven't looked into it. I'm not too well versed on Canada and frankly I'm horrified as to why the urgency of me not knowing hasn't kicked in.

@ Germany. You guys have been experiencing Tornadoes for the past few years. Once you figure out why then you'll know what to worry about. You're going to experience a severe climate change there, don't think you'll be wiped out, some indundation for sure, but you're going to experience an abrupt climate change there imo

New Zealand.

I know that my city is like overdue for a big 7-8 earthquake... And I know that we are sitting on a fault line... Its just a matter of time.

My city is known to have wind that reach up to 70km/h on a good day.

Tell me something I don't know :)

sad thing is what I'm saying anyone and there uncle can come by. Yes, you guys are going to get your Atlantis on bigtime. You should invest in floatation devices, if you have adequate floatation device already, get bigger ones, you can never have enough floation devices in my book
