all I know is 808s came out right before this and this was so welcome after that travesty

Certain 11-21-2013 10:42 PM

I still think Graduation was his worst, even with two or three great songs.

At least he tried something on 808s & Heartbreak.

DLB 11-21-2013 11:02 PM

808s wasnt even bad

it has a list of good songs and hit singles. kanye had a direction and he went with it, the autotune abuse is recognizable but he does it justice and made creative poppy synthesized songs u can bump or just listen to

taiko drums are also pretty cool to use/hear

KennyCerealBowl 11-21-2013 11:10 PM

wow wtf? Graduation really? to me thats another classic album. Kanye is the most consistent rapper ever.

Kanye is the only one rapper with a album trilogy that was gradually better than the last from college dropout, to late registeration, to graduation.

He experimented with 808s and to me he succeded.

Then.. he comes with the Monster. MBDTF a flawless fucking album this album is like.. Picasso on a bad LSD trip

Certain 11-21-2013 11:23 PM

Graduation absolutely was not better than Late Registration.

KennyCerealBowl 11-21-2013 11:27 PM

I liked graduation more than late registeration.
Late registeration was real dope though but MBDTF is better than all these

PancakeBrah 11-22-2013 12:07 AM

Late Registration > College Dropout >> Graduation

Graduation is a good album. I like it. LR and CD are great albums.

Certain 11-22-2013 12:18 AM

My opinion:

1. Late Registration
2. Yeezus
3. The College Dropout
4. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
5. Watch the Throne
6. 808s & Heartbreak
7. Graduation
8. Cruel Summer

Eŋg 11-22-2013 12:20 AM

in truth i stopped listening to Kanye after album three. i stand firm in my resolution. it's ok. i won't bump him post '08 as i feel he can live with that.

Certain 11-22-2013 12:41 AM

That's like saying Reasonable Doubt is Jay-Z's best album but only having listened to his 1990s stuff, though. You might be right and very easily might think that even if you had listened to everything. But until you listen to everything, your "best" requires a qualifier.

Eŋg 11-22-2013 12:45 AM

i'm confident Reasonable Doubt IS Jay's best work -- and i've listened to all his albums. up to Kingdom Come.

i see your point, though. i don't subscribe to the logic, personally, being selective.

Greed 11-22-2013 12:58 AM

Kim is too fine.

Dominate 11-22-2013 02:29 AM

MBDTF
College Dropout
Late Registration
Graduation
Watch the Throne
808's

Geno 11-22-2013 06:41 AM

In all honesty.. this album is what made me a kanye fan. Didn't fuck with him until I heard it.

DLB 11-22-2013 07:42 AM

i lol'd at yeezus as album #2

every feature on CD and LR made sense, ie Cam'Ron and Consequence on Gone, not some stupid shit like chief keef using autotune on the hook for hold my liquor

name all the songs u niggas liked on yeezus cause it was dookie but nobody wants to admit it

Dlb once again showing he doesn't have the maturity to just accept that people have different opinions.

YOU SHOULD LIKE THIS BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT I THINK SOUNDS BETTER...POST SONGS YOU LIKE AND I WILL CALL THEM GARBAGE.

This is getting old.
